A WHEELY GOOD MEETUP: SALES PAGE WORKSHOP & NETWORKING EVENT (The Royal Wells Hotel, Tunbridge Wells, TN4 8BE)

"WHY CUSTOMERS LEAVE YOUR SALES PAGE IMMEDIATELY (AND HOW TO HOOK THEM IN THE FIRST 5 LINES)"

Unlike a fisherman, it needn’t take all day to catch one customer to read down your sales page if you follow the right sequence.

Unlike a fisherman, it needn’t take all day to catch one customer to read down your sales page if you follow the right sequence.

When you look at your Google Analytics and see that customers are leaving your website within the first few seconds, it makes you panic a little.

Why are they leaving so fast? Don't they like the product? Is my sales copy bad?

A lot of the time, it comes down to a failure to grasp the six main elements that go into the first few words of any web page that will hook customers on their first visit.

So what are these six magic elements, and how can a small business owner use them?

INTRODUCING:  "WHY CUSTOMERS LEAVE YOUR WEBSITE IMMEDIATELY (AND HOW TO HOOK THEM IN THE FIRST 5 LINES)" *

In a 30-minute presentation from me, Simon (aka The Chief Brain), you'll learn:

  • What are the essential six ingredients that hook in customers right from the start

  • Why leading with benefits is more powerful than talking about yourself

  • Why having evidence from the start gives you immediate credibility, even if your business isn't well-known

  • How communicating a big result within the first few seconds will fire up customers' interest

  • How talking to a specific audience will get you the right customers for your business (and get rid of the time wasters).

You'll also get:

  • Lots of examples from businesses selling services and products doing it well and not so well

  • A PDF of the presentation slides, notes, and audio recording of the presentation

  • To meet like-minded small business owners and startups over some drinks

What makes this event different is that it's limited to a small group of people. Yes, we could run this event for 50 people, but the best learning happens in smaller groups. It's about quality over quantity. That's why we only allow up to 20 people.

*This focusses only on sales pages and not homepages (that’s a topic for another day)

What others think about this presentation:

“In life we have a habit of over-complicating and overthinking what we want to achieve, but this is a brilliant approach, it’s so simplistic and easy to apply. There’s definite mileage in overlaying Simon’s method to your website.”, Katrina Walker – Warners Solicitors, UK

"I was hesitant because I didn't have enough knowledge of IT and thought it might intimidate me. What I like most of all was how important making an impact is and how vitally important it is to keep attention in the first five lines of website. Seeing lots of examples of other sites was important in understanding the do' s and don’ts of getting your copy correct. I also appreciated how simple writing is best, how a good message is not necessarily enough, and how much you can say without using many words.”, Angela Howells – Westerham Council, UK

"I wasn't sure if I would benefit. I discovered there is always room to learn! One of the most useful parts of the content was about how to structure a written piece... for the opening of my website.”, Andrea Starbuck – Ten2Two, UK

Yes, this is the same title as the presentation, but what you’ll see is a newer, updated version and we like attendees to read the notes beforehand.
